We are a group of enthusiasts of Chinese Culture, which we believe is largely misunderstood in the West. Our founding members are Masters and practitioners of Fujian White Crane Kung Fu, a very old and revered form of Chinese Martial Arts.
We have been traveling to China to explore our passion for several decades, and along the way we have learnt quite a lot about Chinese Culture and its history, but we’ve also learnt how little we still know!
So, we started Phecda One to discover more and share what we gain with the world. Leveraging our network in China to talk to Professors and experts in all subjects relating to Chinese Culture; from their origins, to how they manifest in today’s food, art, tea, music, martial arts, names, traditions, luck, numerology, and many other aspects. We also hope to introduce Western Culture to the Chinese and hence bridge the gap of understanding across the world.
